Support HSC by Shopping and Searching the Internet
Every fundraising method HSC uses takes advantage of your shopping, both in brick-and-mortar stores and online.
Boxtops 4 Education
Any products that you normally purchase (baking supplies, beverages, cereal, paper products, waste bags, frozen foods, snacks, zip lock plastic bags, etc.) that have a Boxtop 4 Education on the container will generate 10 cents for HSC. We collect Boxtops twice a year and have been earning between $50 and $150 each time we turn them in. You can see the products that currently have boxtops. If you have Boxtops to turn in, email the Fundraising Coordinator to find out where to send them.
Of course, Boxtops has other promotions as well. You can make online purchases by starting at the Boxtops Marketplace or you can purchase the books you love through the Boxtops Reading Room (through Barnes & Noble). If you use either of these options, you will need to identify HSC as the beneficiary by entering the HSC ID number: 953822.
E-Scrip
This is a unique way to support HSC as you shop. You just register your grocery card (Safeway/Vons), debit and/or credit cards with e-Scrip and any purchases you make at e-Scrip merchant stores (both in the store and onine) will generate a donation to HSC. It's so easy that once you register, you can forget about it and it's all done for you automatically. The one thing we have to remember is to confirm the grocery card once a year. Goodsearch/Goodshop
Good Search is an interesting concept; here's how it works -- GoodSearch is a search engine which donates 50-percent of its revenue to the registered non-profit organizations designated by its users. You use GoodSearch exactly as you would any other search engine. The money GoodSearch donates to your cause comes from its advertisers — the users and the organizations do not spend a dime! Go to GoodSearch and try it out for yourself.
In 2007, GoodSearch was expanded to include GoodShop, an online shopping mall of world-class merchants dedicated to helping fund worthy causes across the country. Each purchase made via the GoodShop mall results in a donation to your designated organization – averaging approximately 3% of the sale, but going up to 20% or even more.

Amazon
HSC has been an Amazon Affiliate for a long time. If you make a purchase of any of the books listed in our Resources pages, that purchase will automatically generate a donation to HSC. If you want to purchase something from Amazon (and it isn't listed in our resources), just use the link at the bottom of this page to get to Amazon and whatever you purchase will generate income for HSC.
Amazon has recently announced a new service that we thought you might like to know about. Many of us use videos for our home learning. In March Amazon announced their Amazon Video On Demand service.
